Born Again Christian's

It is ridiculous how the term “Born Again Christian” has such a bad disrepute. Merely believing in God and/or Jesus Christ does not make you a Christian. You must be “Born-Again” to be a Christian, to be “saved” and welcomed into God's heavenly kingdom.
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
John 3:3-7 ESV

Why are Born Again Christian's so pushy, always trying to push their religion onto others? First off we don't mean to be “pushy”, second we are not pushing our religion onto others. As born again Christian's we have received an amazing gift from God through Jesus Christ. What we are doing is trying to share this amazing gift with o
thers. We want you to understand what it means to be a Christian and how to be saved from your sin to live a fulfilled life here on Earth as well as welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven for eternity.

As Christians we don't look at Christianity as a religion (full of rules & regulations) but as a relationship with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ allowing us access to our Father God through the Holy Spirit residing within us.

Does God hear the prayers of non-Christians or non-believers? I've been told many times “I have prayed to God but He never answers” I think I have said it myself in the past, before becoming a Christian. The Bible clearly says that God will not answer prayer requests of those who are not saved nor will He even listen to their prayers.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 Peter 3:12 ESV

We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.
John 9:31 ESV

but your iniquities have made a separation
between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you
so that he does not hear.
Isaiah 59:2 ESV

Christian's are saved, forgiven and washed clean of our sins and are made righteous in the eyes of the Lord. Our sins are no longer separating us from God. Now does this mean all of our prayers are answered? No, if we fail to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and allow sin to control us, if we sin and don't ask for forgiveness & repent, we fail to forgive others or we are praying for things that are our side of God's plan for our life.

Christian's are not perfect human beings, we are flawed and all sin. When we sin we should be asking our Father to forgive us and sincerely repent. We should be seeking to follow the ways of Christ through the Holy Spirits guidance; gradually turning more & more Christ like. Did you notice I said “we should”? Yes, there are hypocritical Christian's that think because they are saved and cannot lose their salvation that they can live their lives however they wish. This is wrong and the Holy Spirit is constantly working to change their hearts.

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

Matthew 7:3-5 (NIV)

I guess I have gone on long enough. I pray that if you are not already that you get right with God. Ask for forgiveness, repent of your sins. Believe in and trust Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior, ask Him into your heart and your life. Open the gates to Heaven, open the ears of God and experience the awesome love and relationship you can have with Jesus Christ. Amen!
